I'm looking for a Wacom...
Preferably a Graphire - after 8 years of use, my usb cable connector is too tired to work, I can't fix it.
(between 100 - 200€)any suggestions on where to buy and get a quick ship in Europe? I'd buy a second-hand also.
any help?

which bit of the USB cable is knackered? If it is just that, it'll be fairly easy to fix - if not by you, then someone who's comfortable stripping wires, etc?

I just bought a new Wacom Bamboo A5, not the best I know, but I'm in the midlle of a book illustration and deadline is tight, so I picked the best I found in terms of average 'quality-price-delivery'. (164€)
Amazon doesn't ship these kind of electronic products to Portugal (just books - wonder why???)
I'll invest in an intuos next year for sure...

3rd of 27 environment / city scapes illustrations for a book (to be more precise) - to deliver in September.
I'm so f*cked this summer and so near the beach I can't go...

I was looking at the Bamboo as well.. the price difference between that and an intuos is just too big. What is it you don't like Kodap? And have you worked with tablets before?

neverblink: I'm waiting in the mail for the shipment... haven't tried yet, I hope it doesn't screw my graphire's easy and simple flow with required software and movement levels, since graphire's it's simple plug and play.

the only real difference I could find between the two is the number of pressure levels (bamboo has 512, intuos has 1000+).
