  I need to figure out how 2 computers compare in lifting heavy graphics (ie, PS, AE, etc.) My bro-in-law said to use a benchmark app, but I have no clue what to use. Any suggestions?

  have you got two computers?. if you do make a massive blur filter in AE or PS wait wait then hit return at the same time whichever one finishes first use that one, pretty quick and dirty but there you go, or you could just look at performance figures on the internet.
