Millennial generation growing up completely immersed in technology will be way better than us at pretty much everything and will make most of Gen X irrelevant within ten years. My theory anyway.

This was half of the reason why I veered away from the web coding cul de sac I'd gotten myself into when I first started working all those years ago - seeing the people who were even just a few years younger than I back then ('Ziggen' springs to mind) made me realise that pursuing a completely tech-lead career would be ultimately quite fruitlesss.
Yes, that really was all one sentence and it really was quite a dull comment. Thanks for watching!
- 'ultimately quite fruitless'. See, that sounds fine in my head - but then when I read it back? Insipid, pretentious twaddle.detritus

I keep my kids immersed in the closet. they get one hour of daylight a day and that is just so they can play on the abacus and do the landscaping.

Will they have the same imagination and creativity though? or will they be all chasing each others tails?

I already have my boys working on my immortality. I am confident they will be able to achieve it, but I fear they will choose not to use it.

I agree but they wont know how to swing a hammer or operate a saw to save their life.

These dummies publish every little tidbit about their lives tho, it'll be easier than ever to spy on your kids...
and also really boring.

I think they will be the first generation since mine who will not be ruled by emerging technology, but will be able to make it disappear into the background.
