OSX combined update?

  Does everyone always download their updates?
  My combined update is up to 560MB...
  And I heard that this morning there was new update because there was a possibility for attacks on the mac, like someone could change you DNS or something...
  Should I ran all the updates, this is really going to slow me down today... Also I heard that sometimes you get issues from running the updates.
