hi, anyone had any experience with glow the dark inks? i want to do a litho run with a glow in the dark special, my supplier says its only possible with screenprinitng because of 'bumps' in the ink - does that sound right?

From the little I know of the chem... yes.
Though I have a tendency to pretend I know what I'm on about, when in reality it's just half-arsed guesswork delivered with a useless veneer of competence.
If I were you, I'd contact another couple of suppliers and ask them how they'd do it.
- screened is the only way to get it rich enough as far as I knowCarl_Weathers

The last or second last issue of Grafik had a glow in the dark cover, it was screen printed by k2screen, so I suppose if it could've been done litho easier and more effectively then they would've gone down that route. Fraid you could be onto a melter here.

cool, thanks guys, i just wanted to check, sometimes i get the feeling that some printers would rather say something was impossible rather than try something new and tricky
