I started studying and thought I conquered numbers and then I go and find out that there's like three or four different ways to count in Japanese depending on whatever it is your talking about. I gave up and just stick with the video techniques above.
You know, I can ask for more beer, ask how much something is, and find out where the bathroom is..beyond that, I'm lost...
