My newest blog. I've begun increasing the content output this week. Newest stuff includes an interview with Larissa Meek and a review of the very uncool Cuil. Check it out if you're interested.
Thanks in advance!

Once I got high on opium and deleted my portfolio. The next day was not a fun day.
- No back-up? :(Jaline
- not at the time. the fact that i was doing opium should account for my level of responsibility at the time. I did recover about half of it though.ninjasavant

I don't like the name DUI... sounds too much like driving under the influence. Very negative connotation.

There needs to be a 'beer goggles' mode.

looks like a robot-generated linkfarm site.

One time I had had a couple beers and I used the Bevel and Emboss filter on my entire design. I even thought it looked good!

I'll guess I'll have to spend some more time on the logo than and take it beyond just text.
In terms of the name "DUI", this is why I think most of the net has a very limited sense of humor. Like OMG, who would name there site DUI?! LOLZ! As people, we are all influenced by everything around us, and as designers / developers, it shapes us even more and becomes the basis of our work. If you take the name too seriously and out of context, your missing the point. For those of you who know this, I was the original owner of Devlounge and wrote 300+ full length pieces in a year and a half were I had to maintain a "professional" attitude the best in could in every one of my posts. DUI is all about being honest, injecting straight up commentary and humor whereever possible into anything I write. It's a no bs outlet for me to write.
