They're obviously doing something right.

Although it may be hard to believe, I don't like any of these social networks. I rarely update my profiles (I usually do it once every few months). I could delete my account but I like to be available when people try to contact me and I like knowing where high schoolers are now.

I remember, around 2 years ago, when no one was there. The interface is almost as bad as it is now, but with no ads and add-ons for profiles. Much cleaner.
We started a Newstoday group. You can search for it and join.
- Heh, I like how no one started a QBN group and we kept the NT ones, haha.********

I have a myspace account that I never updated and never loaded pictures. And someone told me that I have a "stalker account"
I was really offended.

Social Networking sites are great for SEM, which is the primary reason I have/had it. Other than that, it was good to meet like-minded designers in the area and I was addicted to Scrabulous. But I just dislike spending the time/energy to put a page up that gets deactivated without a valid reason. The funny thing is that if I did that to a client, I'd have a lawsuit on my hands. Social Networking sites should honestly look at their users as clients, since these are the people that drive the ad revenue. Unfortunately, they don't seem to care. Whatever, I'm sorta over it. Linked-In is definitely better for my needs. Just frustrating is all.
