I have to say - im WELL impressed by this little thing.
I thought i was doing pretty well, managing to stay away from Apple products in my life, not falling for massive advertising campaigns and hype. like instead of an ipod, getting a far superior archos, and computerwise, opting for PC (more for the money).
but this phone really IS the dogs danglies.easy setup through itunes
rediculously intuitive user interfaces - if this was a product from any other company youd have got a fat user manual and would have had to study it for days before using your phone to its maximum capabilities. the iphone comes with a few page leaflet with some screenshots and a few paragraphs of text. everything else on the phone you just 'know' intuitively how to do it.
proximity sensor is pretty cool - the screen switches off when you put it to your ear.
the thing feels solid
my ONLY gripe with the phone is that with my past few phones ive looped a cord and quickrelease keyring thing to the phone. i did this originally when i was still skating, it meant phone could be secured to my beltloops on jeans so that if i ever bailed and my phone came out of pocket then it wouldnt go flying. also handy for when out at gigs/festivals or out boozing in general it dont fall out yer pocket.
the iphone is completely smooth with no loop for a thread.
might have to purchase some kind of holding case i can attach to cord.
anyone any suggestions of good cases?
