Does anyone know of some good, inexpensive shops that do printing on canvas?

Some sign shops or a kinkos might do it. I don't work for a sign shop, but we have a large format printer that we purchase canvas to run through it.

^^ Yeah, I imagine they probably are. The real struggle is finding a shop that doesn't charge out the arse...it can really become cost prohibitive.

i've used these guys for lots of banners and outdoor advert stuff, and they were far cheaper than anyone else i could find in nyc. but... it's in nyc. they did a good job though.

if you are wanting to get canvases printed and stretched on a frame then you'll pay through the nose for it for their labour.
you can save a shitload if you just get a roll of the prints on one long canvas and cut it yourself. buy the wood to make your own frames and stretch them yourself.
itl take time likes but worth it profitwise.

Great tip, and I think you're probably right. It's those labor costs that are killing.

if you can find someone with a flatbed printer, they can print straight onto already stretched canvases
