The word 'pedant' springs to mind, as I watch this once enjoyable thread become a fight between Moth and the rest of the world, regarding the perceived relevance of a band that we were all previously having a nice old time condemning as a being a load of shite in many splendid ways.

Personally, I don't like them, but I do acknoweldge they have written a few rip-roaring singles that I am happy to sing along to when I hear them. I also quite like Noel's attitude towards Liam and the fact that he thinks he's as big a cnut as everybody else.
I have never owned an Oasis recrod personally, but I'd probably buy their greatest hits if it was in the 20p bucket at Woolworths one day.

There last album was their best since Morning Glory but I ain't excited. Nor am I excited about the new Verve album having heard their bollox new single.

It will be sad if by the end of their career Oasis has put out 20 shit albums compared to the 2 that were good. They are certainly headed in that direction.
