we don't talk about logos

also, never show just the logo. show some hypothetical applications of it so the client (and you) can begin to see how it will translate across different mediums. it will add value to what you are presenting and is also a good way to get them thinking about future work they will want from you.
- mood boards can be extremely helpful as well if trying to give some insight into the thought process.johndiggity

as in Full color print, mounted on foamboard?
show logo in 1 color (black) and 1 color reversed out on dark backround
show logo in color, in large medium and small size with no gradients, bevels or drop shadows.
then show it as "main logo" or something like that.. with all the glossy plastiquey texture and reflection over a glossy floor

we talk a lot about logos but not how they're developed into a presentation. anyone have a link to one that does a good job at showing the thinking behind the design choices?
