Out of all sans typefaces, humanists such as TheSans will be the most legible over the long run, since they have more in common with calligraphic (natural hand motions that attracts the eye) vs. geometric rationalisation.
Whatever you do, don't use Futura or Avant Garde. Impossible to read in large amounts.

i think a lot of these would work, however it's going to be more dependent on how it's set. proper point size, line lengths, and leading coupled with generous whitespace will help improve almost any type's readability.
