Am looking into copyrighting a logo for a client. Does anyone know what the score is in terms of pricing, procedure?... is it a long winded pain in the arse? On a google search it seems like theres a few places offering their services but i wouldve thought that this would be a more official procedure going through some kind of special department or something.
Anyone?

I wouldn't be put off by online procedures these days its all heading that way

you probably want to "register" it? or trademark?
a copyright is a given, you don't need any procedure.

If memory serves, there are some considerable differences between ® and ™, both legal and financial. You or the client are going to want to get a lawyer involved most likely.

Had a logo copyrighted once and I sent the logo as an EPS and then sent the pantones ref's. But not sure if that's the same for all countries.
