it was OK, btw, but he didn't show any of the massive file system designed to show Kubrick where everybody associated with Napoleon in the timeline of his was and what they were doing at any given point.
totally mental, that was what I really wanted to see

yeah i'm watching it on youtube, it's somewhat informative but i was expecting more archives and less testimonies.
fyi kelpie, taschen is supposedly (no confirmation yet) coming up with a book based solely on the Napoleon project..

more accurate info from Alison Castle, the author of the Stanley Kubrick Archives
AC: Actually, the Kubrick family contacted Taschen because they wanted to make a book about Kubrick's unmade film, "Napoleon." Benedikt Taschen liked the idea, but suggested making a big book about Kubrick first. Happily, they agreed. Once I had taken stock of everything that was in the archives, it was clear that we needed to make a huge book to do them justice, and to honor Kubrick's legendary career. Now that the Archives book is published, I'm working on the Napoleon book.
with all the stuff they have they should make 1 book per movie..
