One of my friends I used to skate with was obsessed with Layne Staley, and actually looked like him. He moved to Hollywood about 8 yrs ago to skate and become an actor.
Found out he's been filming the AIC movie...and he's Layne Staley. I'm sure he's touching himself now.

yeah, AIC was the shit in those days (so was Jane's addiction, soundgarden, melvins etc), but imo, the real brick shitters were Monster magnet (early work "spine of god", "tab") and Kyuss.
