..ok, so me and the missus got into a new apartment about three weeks back and today is finally the day I was going to get my work space all set up in the bedroom. So as I get all my books and drives and laptop set up my wife asks "What's that?" while pointing at the ceiling and it looks to be a whole area of water damage and maybe some mold, and there small bits of plaster on the floor behind my desk. the wall is the wet wall and the area above my laptop would be where the toilet-sink-tub is in the apartment above. This wasn't here three weeks ago when we moved in, but it looks like it's a recent patch and if I pick at it it looks like this is a chronic problem....

call it in. Definitely seems like a huge problem. Maybe 311 will send you to someone who cares, but I doubt it. Best of luck o' blueone.

This is the sort of thing you can get the city involved in if the landlord doesn't get on it right away. Good luck!
