Starting with a excel doc, trim it down to 1 column containing 700+ rows of email addresses. Export this as .CSV
Goto phpmyadmin and try and import the .csv file specifying a "," as the field terminator, ending up with 1 field with all 700 email addresses in it...instead of 700 fields with 1 email address
any help?? what am i not doing here??

you are selecting comma as the field terminator, which would be the separator between columns if you had multiple columns, you need to specify the comma as the LINE terminator. not sure how this works in phpmyadmin though, sorry
