ok seriously, the only thing I can think of is that when you hit the "back" arrow, there's no animation. But I'm just nit-picking. Aesthetically, this site is outstanding...

I built a site like this for a client once. It took aaaages!
Coming to think of it; it wasn't actually a website, it was a sandwich. And it wasn't reeeally a client... it was my mum.

pretty impressive. one thing i noticed is that it uses a ton of RAM, on the order of about 600Mb, which stacks up as you nav around and load content, but don't dump when you nav away from a section. are you using AS3 for this? memory management is a bit more complicated with the new AVM, have to clean up your refs!

That is honestly one of the best sites I have seen in years.. I love the layers of images and little details of each scene.. the photo/illustration is spot on, and the nav is great..

When I click Overview and then click the scroller (don't release the click) it reverts back a number of frames. That is, the horse and carriage isn't moving and the logo disappears. Upon releasing and clicking the scroller again this goes away and the background animation is normal. It will happen every time you close the overview and re-open it.

load times were too long and the content seemed to be playing second fiddle to what is basically, some okay artwork

Visually it's pretty damn slick, but from a usability standpoint pretty terrible. Have to do a lot of work to get a little information. Looks amazing though.
