21 Club has really gone downhill as of late. I much prefer the Gotham Bar and Grill. Less of a wanna be crowd and excellent caviar. We took my wife's parents there when they were in from Tokyo and I think I'll be doing my 40th birthday bash there as well....If it's just for drinks I do like the bar at Japonais on Park Ave, Great bar, pity about the food...
