annual report as a calendar

this was a suggestion from a client. they want something 'different'.
they are non-profit and mainly use their annual reports as a tool to recruit new donors.
i'm thinking something like an oversized desk calendar... could be interesting.
good/bad idea?
any thoughts?

that would be a pretty boring calendar

Make it oversized, and the calendar can be a small section in the same place on each page (running up the side, in the corner, etc...)

thats what my initial thinking was... to work the calendar into the grid system but make it consistent on each page.
