How many people have started to design their own themes with this grid system?? Anyone had and problems? I'm trying to gather some links before going ahead with a full theme/

I had a play earlier this year after someone discussed it around Christmas time. I had intended to get right into it, as it was easy to work out and worked quite well... but I've not made live the site I made and have not had any web projects to fulfill, so... er.. I'm not much of any use here, I'm afraid, other than 'yes.. not really, sorry, don't have any' :)
- I have 3 sites to do in August, so I may get back to you then!detritus

Splendid. I find WP quite handy as a quick admin system for clients with small sites but always end up spending too much time with getting CSS etc to come together nicely, being more design than dev.
This looks quite a good way in. May have a play later and see how it goes.

detritus: ;) yeah in same boat, got two sites that will need to be built on WP over the next month. Really want to get a work flow together with BP.
zshed: Got a few other blank templates to start with here that would work well:

Nice time saver:
http://wpthemerkit.com/The download provided from this site includes an html version of all the classes etc in wordpress so you don't have to spend ages digging for them.

I am in the same boat.. I need to tweak the css and theme of my blog and one that I am working (with a team) to build and launch.. what do you think the best references are to learn this? (like books, online tutorials, classes in the Philly area....)
site in progress is: http://www.fourcornersdark.com
I didn't do that theme, but am working on a custom one for it...
