leopard "connection failed"

Hey folks,
I am using leopard on an imac 24. I have connection issues using FF (2.0.0.14 & 3.0). Whenever I fire FF up, I get a "connection failed" dialog. I press ok, and it comes up about another 3-4 times, and then works like magic.
Anyone have any similar issues? And, if so, anyone have a fix?

I'd be checking your internet connection first of all...
Or is it only FF affected? (Did you test with another browser when it happens?)

if your on an old router upgrade the firmware...Leopard has very weak legacy router support
- usually its a good idea to confirm the symptoms before starting on the cure..ribit

Thanks for the tips. Here is what I have done since last night. I got me an airport. Works great, but FF is still killing me with connection failed messages. Safari works great, I can connect to aim, get emails etc.... only FF and Dreamweaver (only when I do a "put" does it time out). I can live with Firefox driving me nuts, BUT, I cannot carry on with DW shooting blanks at the server.

ribit, yeah it is only FF.
