Dust I wish you luck with your design community.
It seems that trying to promote yours on an already successful forum may have not been the best idea, especially when it doesn't actually exist yet as anything more than an idea, and when you don't really know anyone here yet.I'd be interested to see how your design comes on. People here will no doubt be happy to offer advice on site design, your identity and any techy questions you have whilst building the site.
Use your new found design forum fame and run with it.
