i've got a use 1998 ET2 50cc silver but with only 600km in 10yrs! its pretty nice & smooth to ride on and even with small engine it takes 2 at a good 50-65 km/h straight. However, i'm want to get an oldie similar to what madirish just posted^ but with an engine bigger than 125cc...
just beware where you park it and make sure you chain it to something cuz 2 people can easily put it inside a car while you're not looking.

I rented a scooter while on vacation and was surprised by how much fun they are. The only weird part was I kept going for the non-existent shift peg and floor brake.

I bought a beat up scooter when I lived in Japan. Used to get drunk and rip around on it in the middle of the night.

If you can get one of those sweet vintage ones (I saw a million if I saw one in Sicily), that would be great. I'm noticing a lot more scooters on the road lately – reckon it's the price of gas. Just be careful on that thing. Watch out for idiots (more than usual).
