We have a radio show playing on the mac through the website (radio 6 i think) and want to record part of it on the mac? As in something that records what is playing rather than just the mic which i guess will only record external sound.
Cheers

Audio Hijack will record sound from any app internally. It's very good and free:

download the older versions which are free – 2.2.0 or 2.2.5

"Using WireTap Studio, you can record the discrete audio output of any application, as well as all system audio, or record audio input from any microphone, line-in, or audio input hardware."
- any experience? did you use it? (i'm looking for a solution, too, btw..)invisiblechamber
- Yeah, use it all the time. Very goodand reliable. I like not having to switch off email/system sounds...creative-
- when recording from an app, so the sounds don't get recorded over what's playing in RealPlayer for examplecreative-
