not to be a corporate apologist (and I'm not sure of the background on this) but they are a holding company which has over 100000 employees and 2000 offices – that's an awfully big and complex organisation and a there is likely to be a large degree of autonomy in that structure

I have to be honest and say I know very little about it. There was a thread earlier in the week, which I couldn't relocate to add this to, which criticised WPP for alledgedly being involved with Mugabe's party. I thought I'd write and see what they have to say for themselves / give them an opportunity to respond to the allegation. That was what they sent back.

Interesting, especially as I am part of the WPP behemoth. I wasn't aware of this. Doesn't surprise me to be honest though having heard sorrell talk about the growth of the company
