Took the day off from work. Have some furniture delivery coming as well as the cable guy.
Had a nice bowl of oatmeal and a protein shake, took myself down to the cafe and had a superb cup of coffee, then strolled to the shop on this delightful NYC morning and bought some poster frames and some shelf liner for the kitchen cabinetry.
Now having some OJ, watching the People's Court on TV and doing some freelance coding work at my leisure, awaiting the arrival of my new furniture.

Furniture has arrived! If anyone needs me for the next few hours I will be knee deep in tiny wooden pegs and hex wrench screws - all the tiny acoutrements of affordable swedish furniture assembly.

FUCK. I'm at that last stage where the last two pieces are supposed to fit and they just refuse to go together,so you use a hammer,and you mar the furniture in the process so you curse more....Thor Curse You IKEA!!!!
