Sorry Lloyd, I think its a joke to consider to even consider one, unless is just for looks.
here is why.
no way to install apps unless you have a new computer, that immediately disqualifies it as a work computer.(yes, I read that comment about its for project managers that travel a lot, you are on a meeting they ask you to load a dvd, everyone points at you and laugh)
Glossy screen only (some people like it, I rather not have my colors distorted or my reflection on the screen when I'm working)
its not the fastest computer available, but its the most expensive one, that doesn't make ANY sense..
clearly a computer that you would buy to spoil your 13 old daughter so she can use myspace.that's it.

Yes, I have read reviews that basically say what you gain in portability you loose and then some in speed. They are definitely not good for designers.....you would go insane at the speed. They seem more ideal for writers/surfing the net.

The good: Incredibly thin yet surprisingly sturdy; new trackpad gesture controls are very useful; remote optical drive makes living without a built-in drive much easier.
The bad: Very limited connectivity; slower than other MacBooks; SSD hard-drive option is ridiculously expensive and standard hard drive is small; battery is not user replaceable.
The bottom line: The design is revolutionary, but Apple's MacBook Air will appeal to a smaller, more specialized audience than the standard MacBook, thanks to a stripped-down set of connections and features.

its great for people that want to make vacation videos on ivideo, or use ichat to talk to people they meet in myspace, or make an album of photos of themselves holding the camera with their left hand using iphoto, if you are only doing that, then this computer has everything you need installed.
it should be called
"MySpace Mac™"
