Yes- I would definetly wear jeans... I used to meet huge financial clients with my bosses, I looked like a dork with slacks, and my bosses wore Jeans. (my bosses were big advertising gurus from Grey and Sachi&Sachi (sorry misspel)).
In any case, as someone mentioned, wear something nice. Nice leather shoes, and nice button-up shirt will do the trick.

The other thing to consider is - better to wear jeans than to wear a bad suit, or bad tie!! those things can make you look like a cheap salesman!
