I have been pondering on this thing for a while, if somebody is blind from birth... i wonder what their dreams would look like?

I imagine they only have auditory dreams.

they dream based on their own memories. like with sounds and emotions, stuff they're familiar with.

I was thinking they have visions which are just shapes maybe... i dunno its really tricky! Also colour too, would there be any colour...

i'm willing to bet if you search forums for blind people you'll find some answers.

I have thought of this about the colour-blind. If you're colour-blind and if you're used to name brown as "red" (because you're taught to say "red" when you're seeing "brown" from birth) how come colour-blinds were detected in the first place? Isn't it all about language?
I mean, isn't perception all about culture, and linguistics? If it isn't then all sociology and modern philosophies are wrong. And if it isn't all about linguistics in the end you can't say that all people are equal. All you can say is that all people are different.
- some only see certain colors, like everything red and blue and green would be brown, or something********
- Ah. I see (great pun!). They were detected by agglutination of colours against standard description. Makes sense.********
- I mean, it makes sense when people are incapable of describing an array of colours and call it a single name.********
- Well, it makes sense because that's what socialism does, and many many people defend it, such as I did.********
