Add your favorite movie theatres and nearby bars!
Keep the movie theatre pegs dark red, and the bars orange (just to differentiate).

I think it's a cool idea. Fill this thing up with bars, please! It'll be like the QBN traveler's guide to drinking.

Got a favorite dive that you frequent with friends after taking in a
flick? If so, plot it on our map.

    First go here:
    http://umapper.com/maps/view/id/…

Browse the different theatres and bars that other members have already added. If your bar and/or theatre aren't included, click "Edit Map" or go directly by browsing to:
    http://umapper.com/maps/edit/id/…

    Here's how it works:

    ADD A THEATRE
    1. Browse to the location of the theatre as you would with Google Maps
    2. Click "Add Markers" under "Objects" on the right menu.
    3. Click on the map where your theatre is.
    4. From the menu that pops up, click "Info Window Content" and enter the name of the theatre in the top bar (ie., "Chelsea Clearview Cinemas")
    5. Enter the full address of the theatre in the big box below. Take a look at some of the existing markers to see how others have entered this information. Leave all the colors and fonts and things their default information.
    6. Click "Submit"
    7. Hover over your new marker and click "Marker Appearance" from the menu that pops up.
    8. For "Marker Fill" color, click the color to reveal the color picker and select dark red (which is on the third column, the 7th row down). To double check you have the right color, it should say "990000" when you hover over the color. If you're web savvy, you can just enter "0x990000" next to the Marker Fill color box in the free text field (without the quotation marks of course).
    9. Under "Marker Border" change the Thickness to "0" (without quotes), or drag the slider to the left to have it change automatically.
    10. Leave the other settings at their defaults and click "Submit".
    11. Preview your new theatre marker. If everything looks good, click the big blue "Save" button, and you're done.

    ADD A BAR/PUB
(Most of this is the same as adding a theatre, with some subtle
    differences...mostly, the marker color).
    1. Browse to the location of the bar as you would with Google Maps
    2. Click "Add Markers" under "Objects" on the right menu.
    3. Click on the map where your bar is.
    4. From the menu that pops up, click "Info Window Content" and enter the name of the theatre in the top bar (ie., "Bikini Bungalow")
    5. Enter the full address of the bar in the big box below. Take a look at some of the existing markers to see how others have entered this
information. Leave all the colors and fonts and things their default
    information.
    6. Click "Submit"
    7. Hover over your new marker and click "Marker Appearance" from the menu that pops up.
    8. For "Marker Fill" color, click the color to reveal the color picker and select orange (which is on the third-to-last column, the 7th row down). To double check you have the right color, it should say "FF9900" when you hover over the color. If you're web savvy, you can just enter "0xFF9900" next to the Marker Fill color box in the free text field (without the quotation marks of course).
    9. Under "Marker Border" change the Thickness to "0" (without quotes), or drag the slider to the left to have it change automatically.
    10. Leave the other settings at their defaults and click "Submit".
    11. Preview your new bar/pub marker. If everything looks good, click the big blue "Save" button, and you're done.
