this was on the news last night...they use it for predicting weather.

Id heard they were using it to track nuclear materials.
But how hard can that be ?
I ran a simulation earlier today, and I constructed a 3 column mySql table, with like 'entry_id', for each nuclear material's location index, 'description' (of the nuclear material), and 'last_location', as the location - full text, so it was useful.
Then I just used a php script to parse through the excel spreadsheet 'nuclear_materials_us_gov_2008.x... and it took the server about 20 seconds, tops.
What a bunch of fibbers they are.
