i played a season of 5 a side indoor a couple years ago.
midnight league... we sucked, but it was fun.
and yeah, it's fast and a serious work-out...

it is, i love it, have had a few injuries and fights in the past but in 13 years of playing indoor 5's and 11 aside i have only been sent off once! and that was for giving the ref shit....
i have been knocked out via the wall once also, which was different!
generally good fun, and good spirited.
- my only red card ever ended up in a massive 3 team fight. All the ref's fault tho...OSFA
- it normally is, the ref got whacked one week! the team got kicked out of the league!cruddlebub

I used to play 2 tournaments on weekends and train during the week, plus High School, etc... Nothing better to release stress and forget about any type of crap or problems....
Unfortunately, a year ago I twisted my ankle pretty bad while playing and almost tore my ligaments/surgery. Thankfully it was just a minor bone crack, but my foot hurts every time I run ever since (I did go to physical therapy - not completed it tho) so, I have not played in almost a year :(

^ Ouch, I know how you feel, I've rolled both my ankles over at different times. Each time it swelled up like an elephants leg and I was on crutches for 3 weeks. Getting back to playing is hard work, everytime you kick a ball it feels like it's going to snap again. Took me a good two months to recover properly each time.

i had to have two ops on my right knee when i was 18, hyper extended my leg to side. literally bent to side like it should of bent forwards and backwards, tore muscle, ligaments and cartilage... nasty.
i was pretty decent at that age, but that injury basically put an end to that level of football.
but hey ho.
- Nightmare mate. That would have got me DOWNJimbo82

If anyone in the San Diego area would like to play, my buddies and I have a weekly Saturday pickup game in South Carlsbad.
We play at 10:30AM
Men and women of all ages welcome.
No slide tackle.
Fast paced, more passing than dribbling.
Small Pugg goals.http://www.passportsoccer.com/pi…
