Firstly, almost all 20" and 22" monitors are the same resolution. Is there any reason to stretch out the same amount of pixels to 22"? Why not keep 'em sharp at 20"?
Pretty much everyone's got the Dell 20" but technonerds says the "TN" panel is crappy? Seems like the only players in this market are Dell and Apple. Is it even worth considering Samsung, Acer, BenQ, etc?

I have Dell SP2008WFP and its been good, easy to calibrate and nice black. I have had view sonics, apple (the old 23"), and samsung monitors and the Dell has been the best.

the pixels are always sharp.
stop messing around and get a 23" at 1920x1200 for gods sake.

from personal experiece I am a fan of apples displays, Ive never owned a dell but have seen them in action and they don't seem to diss-similar in quality to the ACDs.
Ive owned a couple of samsungs that were pretty decent but not quite on par with the said two brands above
- Doesn't Samsung manufacture the panels for Apple and Dell?ETM

Well the Dell and Apple displays are apparently made of the same panels, so they should be pretty similar. Is anyone happy with their bigger-pixeled 22"?
