so i'm tired of LA after four years.
i'm thinking of moving to Philly, I"ve spen a couple summers in PA and liked it there. I"m from DC so home won't be far away but it will be far enoughThose of you who live in Philly, what is the design ad agencies like there ? easy job market ? good areas to live in ( i'm more of a city person so i'd love to find a young neighborhood which is easily walkable)... I have a list of Philly Agencies but if anyone wants to help...that would be great !

I'm near philly now. lived in the city for 9 years, love philly. good ppl, great atmosphere, lots of influences. design agencies are okaaay, not like nyc or la of course. I think the only semi-major ones are Brownstein Group, Red Tettemer, and Avenue A Razorfish but I wouldn't consider them major. I feel like everyone is looking right now, so if you're good you shouldn't have a problem at all. (I'm a freelancer tho)

love it- Nothing against them, but Hammonton, NJ isn't Philly. Not even close.TheFatBaron

i'm not that good (i'm more into motion /post production ) but i think that having freelance experience in LA would make things easier

Don't move there now. They're about to lose the Stanley Cup Finals, thus making the whole town depressed.

L.A. has a gazillion hockey teams. What's up with that? More teams in Canada!
