Not allowing me to cut folders and documents to paste them somewhere else. Seriously guys, what's the deal? Are we not that advanced yet? Wait until OSXI? Bums.

drag and drop is a pain sometimes.
harlequino, you can cut them? It never lets me cut. Only copy.- Try copy, then delete original?harlequino
- That's stupid. I have complaints about this as well.mg33

Thats not really a blunder though, is it?
I mean, if apple sold you a new computer and when you started it up it contained the secret to a new super powerful computer or all the managements emails or naked pictures of steve jobs, that would be a blunder.
This is just something you would like to see implemented.

Actually, that bothers me too. It takes more work to have to copy something, and then paste it, and then go back and delete the original file. Not a lot of work (obviously), but still not as efficient.

copy and pasty works fine
CUT and paste does not, but who cares

It's so counter intuitive. It's like having to take a document to the photo copier, copy it, move it into a different folder, and take the original off the copy glass and throw it away. It's fuckin backwards.
- dskz0
are you using OS 9???
- Jaline0
I'm using Leopard.
- brains0
Doye, I can drag and drop, but that's fucking balls sometime.
- Jaline0
CALM DOWN, EVERYONE.
You know it's faster to cut + paste, rather than copy + paste + go back and delete original file.
- Jaline0
I want it to work in folders.
- where it counts.Jaline
- Yes. Thank you.brains
- I do use the option key, but it's still not as nice...Jaline
- nope, I'm way faster with cut / paste, and at least that way if I'm taking the file way off path, I don't have to have the specific folder open.brains
- specific folder open in the finder.brains
- Yeah, how hard is it to just add a "cut" option?Jaline
- Apparently very difficult.brains

Not allowing macbook / pros to stay 'awake' while closed.
- I know there are options, but as it isn't built into OS X then it is still an apple blunder :]pom
- yup....I guess I haven't had to use it yet.Jaline
- latest firmware fixed that issue. all i do is hook up monitor, close MBP and hit the spacebar. done!kerus
- I don't have another mon! I know about clamshell mode, but i just want to close it and have music play or torrents run.pom
