I am interning this summer in NYC, and find myself wondering now, asides from looking really good in clothes, what do all of you use to carry around your really cool creative stuff? Hahaha, no but seriously, I've never looked at business luggage (term?) in my entire life.
Any brand names I should look for out there, or would a duct tape bag be sufficient? Again, just kidding, seriously help me! <3

I carry a brown leather satchel from Duffer of St George, it's quite old now so has just started looking good, can't find it on their site, so must have become obsolete!!!
In that bag today I carry...
iPod
Book on OP Art (current reference material)
Packet of cigarettes
Notebook, pencil
Chewing gum

- namecardcase, namecards
- wallet with only the "safe" cash/creditcards
- keys, pen, smokes, lighter...and that's about it.

I got a laptop bag from Dunderton which is like a one strap courier bag type thingy, I rarely carry my laptop in it though. It currently holds: Sandwich
apple juice
chocolate bar
crisps
yoghurt
antibiotics
cough syrup
camera
film
notebook
assortment of pens/pencils
usb key
receipts/tram tickets/scraps of paper/rubbishPockets contain:
keys
wallet (no money, due to it not being pay day as opposed to a safety)
iPod
phoneReally though, whats not clear about what you need to carry with you? You're not going to work in alaska for a year (unless you are, in which case you're gonna need more than one sandwich), anything you need that you don't have can be bought fairly easily I would assume, so start light and go from there.
