This weekend I take a well deserved, long awaited and based on my recent out bursts, much needed holiday to the arts and design capital of aus.I've got the bog standard list of streets to visit, Brunswick, Greville, Chapel etc; but am interested in the slightly more obscure things to do, see and hear.
Any ideas?

Make sure you pick one of these up straight away: http://www.melbournedesignguide.…
http://www.deckofsecrets.com/Cit…There is some great little galleries and bars to check out, many listed in those two guides (although some, you'll find by chance wandering down the laneways).
If you're there on the Saturday - head to the Rose Street Artists Market

Add Gertrude St to the list. Between Brunswick and Smith in Fitzroy.
