I lost some work files yesterday on my ipod and i need a backup solution. I use my ipod basically as a briefcase to take files to and from the office and home.
I would like to use time machine as it is free and seems great but it doesn't seem to want to back up my ipod. Any tips or other free software?

the same exact thing happened to me yesterday, i would use my ipod as an in between folder from work to home but yesterday all my files got corrupted and i had to reset the ipod to its default settings and in turn i lost all my work for the last few, but i do have back-ups, but i think a time machine ability with the ipod would be great!!!
what is "rsynch"??
- i had a fairly recent backup but still lost probably 20 hours of work. sucks.cramdesign
- The fourth incarnation of N*Sync. The "o" and "p" versions were most unsuccessful.harlequino

it seems scary, but it's dead simple
- just need to insert the path to your ipod as the sourceacescence

i may be a little dense but rsync is unix and though osx is essentially built on unix, i am not entirely certain that this is the solution.
