And apparently the Burmese junta is using this as a propaganda opportunity. Removing UN or Red Cross or whatever from shipments, and pasting on the top generals' names, to make it look like a gift from the military regime.

These are some pretty tragic events - no doubt. but they are pretty small (death toll wise) in comparison to some of the other natural disasters in the last 100 years... not to make the recent disasters seem any less devastating.
