Any of you Alesis Micron users - how do you record to your computer?
Do you record the audio outs to get the true synth sounds, or do you use Midi and use software synths?
I've never recorded with mine, and just got the M-Audio Oxygen 49 about a month ago. Only using it with Garageband at the moment, which I'm really enjoying for the simplicity of getting ideas down quickly. The grand piano sounds in GB are stunning as well. I have Ableton Live Lite, but not really done much with it yet. It's a bit strange to figure out.
I'm planning on getting Reason at some point; I have used the demo quite a bit and really like it.
I might never have my Micron at home since it's used with my band, but just want to know how to perfectly capture the Micron sounds.
