man, the minute i saw the palm tree and rooftops of downtown i was immediately reminded of home.
i grew up in charleston—lived there about 12 years. i haven't been back since about 2002 though...miss that place to death. what's the economy like there nowadays? how about for the web in particular? i worked with blue ion back in the day, but that was about 8 or 9 years ago.
also, the name brian zimmerman sounds very familiar. maybe i went to school with that guy or something.
anyway, about the site...some of it gets cut off unless i size my browser window up pretty large. otherwise clean, simple, and easy to navigate. thumbs up...

I like the feel of the main window – colours, etc, but it took a while to load. I didn’t hear the music, and I’m not a fan of the browser window resize.

The overall site is pretty nice, however the overwhelming use of ugly fonts made me gag. The type treatment needs some series help and the music does not help either. The flash was executed properly, but I can not get past your font selection, I think I counted at least 7 different fonts... Please keep in mind that "less is more".

i like the site but the folio is too large with some not-so-great work. cut the amount of stuff down to the best and leave it at that. no prospective client will look through it all so just server them the best.
then again, what do i know.

too many fonts.
in the featured projects i don't like the info hidden. i want to know about the project without having to rollover a tab. also the tab disappear when i move my cursor.
in the portfolio i don't get why you need to be able to drag the images vertically when it does nothing accept tween back to the original position. or am i missing something??
the red link button doesn't feel like it belongs. most of your design element feels like your designing for several different sites.
nav wheel i dunno about that... again doesn't feel like it's integrated with the site too well.
the positioning of the elements bugs me...
please do not resize my browser! there's a reason i have it a certain size and i'd like to keep it like that.
and my last complaint. the music. when it's off then i move to a different section it goes back on again... what's up with that??

To me and many people this an indication of lack self esteem as a designer or insecurity. It's like you are begging for work coz you can't pay rent and have to maintain a family, dude...Show only the best of the best.
