At last! a game that makes me want to own a damn PS3 (having a 360 already impaires that desire).
Also, God of War 3 eventually, that game justifies the system IMHO

Forget the "buy PS3" the game is also coming out for 360 and PC.
Still waiting for God of War 3...

Gosh, that is quite impressive - I hope those gorgeous graphics are backed up by the gameplay.
I've played the footage back, frame by frame - there are people down on the street walking about! Though, sadly, there are a couple of points where you should be able to see her reflection, but can't.
Still - for the first 15 seconds I was thinking "pfft.. they're not going back to these video-on-rails-type games are they?". Amazing stuff.

I've been reading that the game actually plays like that video, the levels can be completed with various paths, kudos to EA & DICE for trying something new

not a big fan of heights...but still a nice looking game.

that game is pretty interesting take on a FPS. I don't think its on rails though, i think that you may be able to go where you want a la GTA3
- not as much liberty tho, I think you can take different paths to keep going forward, but not full liberyernexbcn

Sorry, I appreciate that it's not actually an on-rails game - I just presumed from the first few seconds of footage that it was, seeing as the quality is so good. It was my awe that made me go through the entire thing again, cursor keying through each individual frame :)

.... I like the reveal at the end, where you discover youre actually an asian chick with a tattoo on her eye.. great.

The sound also adds a lot to the game, and finally a shooter that features colors, because most of the other games are either gray or brown (generally speaking).

are there usually pipes connecting buildings on roofs?

love the colours. Looks decent to me.

I got no further than the warning screen. Partial nudity – no thanks! It’s full nudity or nothing for me.

Looks great and it will be breathtaking on a massive screen especially if you play in the dark but my concern if the fighting sceens look like ass but bad ass you know the kind of ass that is nasty.

US, May 6, 2008 - A healthy amount of news came out of Sony's European press event today, but one of the more intriguing tidbits was the date that was given to the greatly anticipated LittleBigPlanet from Media Molecule: this October. While this is a UK event and thus only confirms a European release specifically, we imagine that October will bring about a world-wide launch for the title.
For those of you unfamiliar with LittleBigPlanet, it gives you a startling amount of freedom to design your own platforming levels through a fun, physics-based interface. Players can cooperatively create and decorate a play space and then upload it for other PlayStation 3 enthusiasts.
