I haven't bought it all yet. I think Brian Wood's a great writer I enjoy Local as well. About time someone praised a comic that wasn't shitty over here!

Yeah I love it. It slowed down a bit when he did the one-shot "biographies" of other people in the city, but should start to pick up again with Blood in the Game.
Although it's ramping up to its conclusion, I highly recommend giving 100 Bullets a look too (also on Vertigo):

100 Bullets is entertaining for about the first 20 issues, the rest is super formulaic and aimless 'cept for the writer's goal to write 100 issues even if it's just to get rid of it.

I'd reccomend the second trade and stop reading after that. The first storyline about "Dizzy?" wasn't very good either.
