Might be a Word file, try leaving only .doc and see what happens.

Google is your friend.
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q…
First result reveals that .docm is a macro-enabled word document, and .cpgz is a CPIO compressed document.
To be honest mate, it sounds like a virus. But go ahead, open it. I'm sure it'll be fine. Backed up recently, yes?

well it should have helped, because I just explained to you that it's /compressed/ - that means it needs UNcompressing before you can open it.
Let's google some more. Because I know you're too busy ;)
I love google, first result for ".cpgz decompress"
http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/…
http://www.zipeg.com/mac.index.h… - it's a mac tool but i'm sure if you use your GoogleSkills™ some more, you could find a windows version.
Seriously, learn to use Google ;)

Even better, 6th result: http://discussions.apple.com/thr…
"A cpgz extension indicates a Gzipped file. You should be able to decompress it using gunzip in Terminal. Personally, I would open a ticket via the standard ..."
So there you go. It's a zip file.
