Try the v3 beta?

I can never get really into it, I have it. but safari is my default browser.
The dev tools are nice, so when working I use it, but that is not enough..

i agree with your effour. i'm amazed how often it crashes while i'm doing seemingly innocuous things. safari seems to be a little more stable than FF.

downloading the v3 beta right now...see if it makes a difference...

have had more problems with IE. None to speak of with FF despite some memory and performance issues with the Flash plug-in

Actually Safari has been giving me this unable to load script error a lot lately. Really slows my computer down
- its probably an issue in your machine, clear preferences and repair permissions. see if that helpsMeeklo
- cool i'll check it outGlitterati_Duane

I've been meaning to post this myself for the last 6 months. You are so right. It's getting worse and worse. I have to restart it a few times a day! Lets fook it off buddy.
Plus safari has three finger swipe browsing on MBPs.

You can change some of the settings to make it run faster but the beta already has those settings set.

mine will crash randomly now and then (windows xp) it usually has nothing to do with anything... i might be typing a response on QBN and then it pops up an alert... its not often... just once in a while

I'm on a Mac and switched to Camino, which has been great. Firefox was crashing all the time on me.

its crashed about 4 times already today

I use Safari v3 and its brilliant. Very few sites have problems and if they do Camino covers it. Also Camino remembers your tabs when it crashes, so i usually just quit camino and the problem sites are already in tabs ready to be checked again.

i see this dialog box no less than 10 times a day
glad to see its not just my machine(s)......
had a problem on my old imac so i blamed it being full of crap. when i bought my MBP the first thing i installed was FF... it was fine for about an hour and then BLAMMO crash city. no extentions, no hacks, nothin. AWFUL.

+1 soo glad I'm not the only one. It's also particularly bad with gmail.

i've notices going from one https site to another is almost always a crash. and when gmail takes more tan 5 seconds to load or respond thats usually a crash as well. sdkfjghhj
