The symbol is remindful a "woman's health clinic" logo. Do really need a symbol at all?

I wonder if the concept in the second one would work with a different font.

Yeah thanks, I was thinking the same thing.. Any suggestions I might try?

Haha well there are many options. What kind of feel are you aiming for?

got any more? you'd be best to grab a pencil/pen and sketch a bunch of ideas first i reckon. then again what the expletive would i know.
my thoughts (take with a small grain of salt):
1st one: the type doesn't match the icon. looks like 2 different ideas. that plus the type needs playing with - kerning etc.
2nd: if it were a roller-derby in 1976 it'd be spot on. nuff said.

Why do you need a logo for your name?
- airey0
who cares about brand-value huh? if he trades under his name it don't hurt to create a brand. brand brand brand brand doodah doodah...

why do i need a logo? because, as nice as it is, i don't think i'll set my name in helvetica on my business card. on second thought...

Doood, you have an apostrophe over a letter in your name.... what more do you need? You're one of the lucky ones. It's done, you're golden... let's call it a day.

helvetica always works... go with what works best...
