Getting an internet connection in my new house and considering getting a VOIP plan attached to it.Now, local and international calls are cheap as chips, but there is no number allocation, nor is there decent cordless handset that will plug into a router. Most of them are USB handsets which require your computer to be on in order to use them.
On the other hand everyone has my mobile number so I don't really need a number for the thing.
Is it really worth getting it?

i had one, never used it.
BT have an awesome one where it plugs into the router, i really liked it, was so cheap when i did use it... just never did.
