my condolences. it really hit me about the motorcycle because my aunt got hit straight on the head from an arse who had no headlights on. even worse, it was a hit and run.

used to work in a battery warehouse
i remember this one guy who came in now and then looking for motorcycle batteries. face was all scarred up. had a horrible lisp, a limp, was incredibly slow. figured they guy had had a stroke. my boss told me he had been a customer for years. he had wiped out on his bike so many times he had done irreparable damage, but he loved riding. obviously would never get off that bike no matter what.
sorry to hear about your brother's friend.
at least he went out happy

was he being irresponsible?

Story i heard from someone in the hospital, saying that someone needed a doner organ, the doctor said 'hmm it's raining so it shouldn't be long'
So dangerous

My condolences, my uncle died in a motorcycle accident as well. I just got t-boned by a van last thursday on my scooter, hit and run. It knocked me out, and I didn't get a plate number. I'm fine, but my foot could be broken. I go back for x-rays in a week.

Sorry to hear, losing friends to motorcycles is rough.
Just about everyone I used to ride with crashed (myself included) at some point, most were lucky and ok, but one friend crashed into his own truck in front of his house. He was warming it up for someone coming over to buy it, as he bought another one. I always wondered if they guy coming over actually bought one.Anyways, man that sucks - my condolences.

motorbikes scare me but, I want to learn and ride. THe stories make me thing twice. Love the rice burners, but figure a harley will keep me playing it cool.
maybe one yr. I will do it.

My friend's dad took my friends 250 ypvs out for a spin and never came back either. Over 10 years ago now. Just made that all come flooding back. I love riding bikes but I'm dreading the day my son wants one.

I'd ride a motocycle except when you fall off one your head comes off

my condolences as well :( I watched 2 of my friends die on motorcycles at 2 different times back in my racing days, 1 died in my arms, these things can really mess with ones head, take it slow.

I'm really sorry to hear this and hope your friend and his family get through this okay.
There are a lot of great things in this life, and riding down the road on a motorcycle, and especially when the sun is shining and Spring has finally hit... that's got to be up there on that list. I know that doesn't take the sting out, knowing his final minutes/hours were spent in that version of this world is at least something.
Again, really sorry for your friend.
